What we collect when you use Sonny AI, why we need it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.

This privacy policy explains how Omegason Company LLC ("Sonny AI", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit sonnyads.com, chat with Sonny, buy a package or otherwise use our services (the "Services").

We collect what we need to make and deliver your ads: your contact and order details, your chat messages and the files you share. We use it to provide the Services, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to access or delete it at any time.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Account and order details: name, email address, billing details and order history, collected through Shopify when you log in or check out.
Chat content: the messages you send to Sonny or our team, including your brief, feedback and answers.
Files: images, videos, PDFs and other files you upload, and links you share, such as your product page.
Communications: messages you send through our contact form or by email.

Information collected automatically

Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring pages and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies on our store.
Chat session data: a session identifier stored in your browser so your chat continues when you return.

We don't collect your full payment card details. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners.

2. How we use your information

To provide the Services: understand your brief, prepare your creative plan, make and deliver your ads, and handle revisions.
To run the chat, including AI-generated replies from Sonny and messages from our team.
To process payments, prevent fraud, and enforce limits such as one Starter package per customer.
To provide support and send messages about your orders.
To improve our Services, for example by reviewing chat quality and fixing problems.
To send marketing emails, only where you've agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To comply with law and protect our rights and the rights of others.

We don't use your files, brief or ads in our own marketing or portfolio without your permission.

3. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

Where these laws apply, we process your information to perform our contract with you, based on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where required (for example, marketing emails and non-essential cookies).

4. How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run the Services, with:

Shopify, which hosts our store, accounts and checkout. Shopify's own privacy policy applies to its processing.
Service providers that process information on our behalf under contract, including cloud hosting and storage, AI and media processing providers, analytics and email services. They may use it only to provide services to us.
Professional advisers and authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
A buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information. Where our store uses cookies for advertising, you can opt out on Your Privacy Choices.

5. International transfers

We're based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the US and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention

We keep chat messages, files and delivered ads for as long as your account or chat is active, and at least 12 months after delivery so you can download your ads again. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, except where we must keep it by law.

7. Security

Files are stored privately and shared through expiring, signed links. Access to customer data is limited to people and systems that need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. California, Colorado and other US state residents have these rights under their state laws. We won't discriminate against you for exercising them.

To make a request, email support@sonnyads.com from the address on your order. We may need to verify your identity. You can use an authorized agent where the law allows, and appeal our decision by replying to our response. If you're in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Cookies

Our store uses cookies that are necessary for the cart, checkout and chat to work, plus analytics and marketing cookies where you allow them. You can manage cookies in your browser settings and through the cookie banner where it's shown.

10. Children

The Services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes

We'll update this policy as our Services change. The date at the top shows the latest version; if changes are significant, we'll let you know on the site or by email.
