From product link to ready-to-run ads

Step 1: Brief Sonny

Time: about 2 minutes. What you need: a product link.

Click Brief Sonny anywhere on the site and the chat opens. Paste the link to your product page. Sonny reads it and asks a few short questions, the kind a good strategist would ask on a kickoff call:

• Who buys this, and what's going on in their life when they do?
• What problem does it solve, and what did they try before?
• Is there an offer to feature, or anything that must be shown or avoided?
• Are there ads or brands whose style you like?

You can add photos, a logo or videos you already have by dropping them into the chat. Sonny writes everything into a brief and shows it to you as a summary card to confirm. Not sure what to say? Our guide to writing a creative brief for video ads covers what makes a brief useful.

Step 2: Approve the creative plan

Time: usually within a few hours of payment. What you do: read and decide.

Our creative team researches your product, your buyer and what's already working in your category. Then they write a creative plan and send it to your chat:

• Three angles, each a different reason someone would buy, such as a problem it solves, a moment it fits, or an objection it answers.
• A script for every ad, second by second: what's said, what's shown, and what's written on screen.
• The hook for each ad: the first three seconds, written to stop the scroll.

Approve it in one tap, or tell Sonny what to change ("make video two funnier", "don't mention the price", "use the blue color") and the team sends a revised plan. Nothing is filmed until you approve. This is the step that saves you from paying for ads that miss the point.

Step 3: Get your finished ads

Time: 72 hours on Starter, 5 days on Growth, counted from payment and a complete brief.

Once the plan is approved, the team produces your ads. If they need something only you know, like a shipping cutoff or a claim to confirm, Sonny will ask you in the chat. When they're done, the ads arrive in your chat as a delivery card:

• Finished videos, 15 to 30 seconds, in 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Stories (Growth also includes 1:1 and 16:9 versions).
• Captions, voiceover and music, already mixed and ready to upload.
• A campaign write-up: the big idea, why each angle should work for your buyer, and how to test the set.
• Download buttons for every file, with full commercial rights.

Every ad goes through quality checks for the product, the captions and the sound before it reaches you. Details on formats and file delivery are on delivery and revisions.

Step 4: Test, learn and scale

Time: ongoing. What you do: run the ads and tell Sonny what happened.

Then come back to the same chat. Ask for changes, more variations of the winner, new angles, or ads for your next product. Sonny remembers your brand, your brief and what worked, so every round starts further ahead than the last.
